POISON CONTROL HELP

Like children, cats and dogs get into all kinds of things. Unlike children, they can bypass the child-proof lock and chew right through the bottle or package. With thousands of pills, vitamins, supplements, cleaners, oils, etc., it can be difficult to determine what is toxic, not toxic, potentially toxic, and so on.

A veterinary toxicologist may help with the answer to the worries listed above. They can advise whether or not you should take your dog or cat to a veterinary emergency hospital. Listed below are two helplines that may help in the process and hopefully save a trip to MarQueen Pet Emergency and Specialty. If they do determine your dog or cat should be seen they will send a full report to us to help expedite a treatment plan.
