Dr. Bernal graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine as a member of the Phi Zeta honor society. She went on to work as a full-time emergency veterinarian in various locations across Northern California. She has a special interest in trauma, ultrasound, and the human-animal bond. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her three children and husband who is also a veterinarian. She enjoys wine tasting, travel, yoga, and pedaling to nowhere on her Peloton.
